Digital gift cards arrive as a code, not a plastic card. Redeeming takes less than a minute once you know where to enter it. This guide covers the five platforms our customers ask about most, and what to do if a code does not work first time.

How to redeem a Steam gift card

1. Open the Steam app or sign in at store.steampowered.com.
2. Click your account name, then Account details, then Add funds to your Steam Wallet.
3. Choose Redeem a Steam Gift Card or Wallet Code.
4. Enter the code exactly as shown in your order email and click Continue.

The balance is added to your Steam Wallet in the wallet currency of your account. Browse Steam and other gaming cards.

How to redeem a PlayStation Store gift card

1. On PS5 or PS4, open PlayStation Store.
2. Select the … (more) menu and choose Redeem code.
3. Type the 12-character code and confirm.

You can also redeem on the web by signing in to your PlayStation account and choosing Redeem codes from the profile menu.

How to redeem an Xbox gift card

1. On console, press the Xbox button, go to Store, then choose Redeem.
2. On PC or phone, sign in at the Microsoft redeem page with the Microsoft account you use on Xbox.
3. Enter the 25-character code and confirm.

How to redeem a Google Play gift card

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Redeem code.
3. Enter the code and tap Redeem.

Google Play balance can only be used in the country your Google account is set to.

How to redeem an Apple gift card

1. On iPhone or iPad, open the App Store and tap your profile picture.
2. Tap Redeem Gift Card or Code.
3. Enter the code manually or scan it, then tap Redeem.

On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Redeem Gift Card. See all app store cards.

Common redemption errors and how to fix them

• “This code is not valid in your region”: your account country does not match the card. Use an account in the right region, or buy the card for your country.
• “Invalid code”: check for mix-ups between O and 0, I and 1, or S and 5. Copy and paste from your order email where possible.
• “Code already redeemed”: check your account balance or transaction history first, as it may already be added.
• Too many attempts: platforms lock redemption for a while after several failed tries. Wait and try again later.

If a code from Reloadly still does not work, email support@reloadly.shop with your order number within 48 hours and we will check it. A faulty code is replaced or refunded under our refund policy.

The most common reason a gift card “does not work” is not a bad code. It is a region mismatch. A card issued for one country usually cannot be redeemed on an account set to another. Checking takes two minutes and saves a lot of frustration.

What does gift card region mean?

Platforms like Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Google Play and Apple run separate stores for different countries, each with its own currency, prices and tax rules. A gift card is tied to one of those stores. When you redeem it, the platform checks that your account belongs to the same store.

How to check your account region

• Steam: open Account details. Your store country and wallet currency are shown there.
• PlayStation: go to Settings, Users and Accounts, Account, Profile. The country is listed under your account information.
• Xbox / Microsoft: sign in to your Microsoft account and open Your info. The country or region is shown in profile details.
• Google Play: in the Play Store app, open Settings, General, Account and device preferences, then Country and profiles.
• Apple: open Settings, tap your name, then Media & Purchases, View Account, Country/Region.

What are Global gift cards?

Some products, especially in-game currencies such as PUBG Mobile UC or Free Fire diamonds, are sold as Global cards that work in many countries. Always read the product page to confirm where a card can be used. See Global cards.

How to choose the right card on Reloadly

1. Check your account region using the steps above.
2. Open Gift Cards by Region and pick your country.
3. Choose the brand and card value. The region is shown in the product name, for example “Steam Gift Card (USA)”.
